CASA DE DESARROLLO MANOS UNIDAS/ MTC Región Costa

Casa de Desarrollo Manos Unidas Vida is the regional headquarters of the Rural Workers' Movement in the Costa region. For young people it offers different vocational courses such as baking, beauty and dressmaking culture, and the service of legal and psychological counseling.

CENTRO DE FORMACIóN TÉCNICO ARTESANAL TXOL B´E

The Centro de Formación Técnico Artesanal Txol b'e in Comitancillo offers courses in ceramics, looms, dressmaking and computers.
It is located in Comitancillo, but participation is open to young people from other municipalities.

Together: Leadership school for women

It is an extracurricular learning space, based in San Marcos, which aims to provide a comprehensive education to women, empowering them from the inside to the outside, so they can develop personally and professionally. Due to COVID-19, we have migrated to a 100% virtual format, implementing diploma courses such as Girls in Technology, Women's Leadership, Informed Messaging, Feminism + Technology, Feminism for Non-Feminists...even the Mentorship Program, impacting in 8 months more than 500 women from 7 different countries. Our approaches and methodologies of work are: Open Innovation, Collective Intelligence, Disruptive Projects and Sorority Spaces.

Mides

My first job grant. 

It is a social program in terms of youth employability that facilitates access to the labor market for young people between 18 and 25 years old and unemployed, in conditions of poverty or extreme poverty. 

The program places young people in their first job for 5 months to get experience.
